Description
GenJet DNA In Vitro
Transfection Reagent for PC12
cell is pre-optimized for most efficiently transfecting
PC12 cells. PC12 is a cell line derived from a pheochromocytoma of the rat
adrenal medulla. PC12 cells stop dividing and terminally differentiate
when treated with nerve growth factor. This makes PC12 cells useful as a
model system for neuronal differentiation.
Refer to the following optimal transfection conditions for maximal transfection
efficiency on PC12 cells. GenJet reagent, 1.0 ml, is sufficient for 660 transfections in 24 well plates or
330 transfections in 6 well plates.
